Consumer Health Data We Collect

When you schedule a consultation, we collect the due date you provide. A due date may reveal pregnancy status and expected delivery timing.

We use this information to prepare for your consultation, assess service timing and availability, respond to your request, and communicate with you about the doula services you request.

Sources of Consumer Health Data

We collect your due date directly from you when you submit it through Google Calendar Appointment Scheduling.

Consumer Health Data We Share

We do not sell consumer health data. The category of consumer health data shared for appointment scheduling is your due date.

The category of third party that receives this information is our appointment-scheduling provider, Google LLC. Google processes the information so that we can provide the scheduling service you request. We have no affiliates with whom we share consumer health data.

Your Consumer Health Data Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data; request access to that data and a list of recipients; withdraw consent to future collection or sharing; or request deletion of your consumer health data.

To exercise a right, email doula.charlotteher@gmail.com with the subject line “Consumer Health Data Request” and describe your request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity. We will respond without undue delay and within 45 days, as required by applicable law.

Appeals

If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing the address above with the subject line “Consumer Health Data Appeal.” We will respond to your appeal in writing within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, we will explain the decision and provide a way to contact the Washington State Attorney General.
